Harvey Korman

One of the greatest comic foils in the history of TV died at age 81. Harvey Korman was best known for his years on The Carol Burnett Show, being the main male actor during most of the show’s extremely successful run. He had excellent chemistry with other comic actors like Cloris Leachman, helping build comic tension with his keen sense of showing exasperation under duress. This came through clearly when teamed with Tim Conway (when he wasn’t breaking up in laughter):

But a great example of seamless interaction between two comic minds comes through with this rare clip from Danny Kaye’s TV show (Korman’s first steady gig) from the early 60’s:
