Now here’s the entertainment news I can use. The awards dishonoring the worst of Hollywood are out and Lindsay Lohan and Eddie Murphy are probably hiding right now. Both I Know Who Killed Me and Norbit have lots of nominations for worst–well, probably anything, but both actors are nominated more than once for acting awards, since each has taken multiple roles.
Glad to see that my choice for worst film of the year, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, is way up there getting kicked in the proverbial nuts with 8 nominations. Thank you Razzies for remembering Rob Schneider for his horrendously racist portrayal of an Asian minister. It’s no wonder he was uncredited in the movie, I would be too.
Captivity also picked up a few, though I’m a little surprised it did not pick up more.
And you can probably expect that anything remotely connected with producer Steven Paul (Slapstick of Another Kind, Baby Geniuses) has got to mean trouble if you want something resembling a movie career. Thus, you can bet all those associated with Bratz will get a strong case of memory loss when asked about their involvements.
